mint moji-toe foot scrub

This all natural homemade foot scrub leaves my feet feeling so soft. I try to do it once per week. It really saves spending money on pedicures.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • - juice of 1/2 lime
  • 5-6 - mint, fresh- torn into pieces
  • 2 - drops peppermint oil (optional)
  • - shea butter, cocoa butter or your fav moisturizer.
  • 1 - pair socks
  • - towel

How To Make mint moji-toe foot scrub

  • Step 1
    Mix the salt, oils, mint and lime juice together. If you have any left over, you can store it in the fridge for up to a week.
  • Step 2
    First soak feet for 5-10 minutes in warm water. Then Drain water. Is using a foot basin refill with clean water.
  • Step 3
    Sit the scrub on the edge of the bathtub, or near your foot basin and keep a towel by your side.
  • Step 4
    Sit on the edge of your bathtub with your feet near the faucet.
  • Step 5
    One foot at a time, scrub well with the mixture, focusing on the roughest parts.
  • Step 6
    Scrub each foot for at least five minutes.
  • Step 7
    Rinse with water, but just well enough to get all the salt and other solid ingredients off.
  • Step 8
    Don’t try to rinse off the oil. You want to leave that on.
  • Step 9
    Gently pat your feet dry.
  • Step 10
    After you’ve gently dried your feet, they’ll be oily, so be careful walking.
  • Step 11
    Moisturize your feet with your favorite moisturizer.
  • Step 12
    Put socks on and leave on over night.
