    distilled water
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 Tbsp
    bees wax, grated
  • 5-7
drops essential oil of your choice (see below)
  • 1/2 c
    sweet almond oil

How to Make Herbal hand lotion.

  1. Heat the oil and the beeswax gently until the beeswax is almost melted.

Remove from the heat and stir and add the lecithin.

Heat the water till almost boiling.

Slowly pour the water into the almond oil mixture while stirring with a wire whisk.

Add 5-7 drops of an essential oil such as rose, lavender, rose geranium, or other gentle scents, also whisking it into the mixture.

Pour into a container and allow to cool. Makes 8 ozs
  2. Notes

Lecithin liquid is better and you can get it in any drug store. I usually but it in the large capsule form. they are easy to put a pin hole in and squeeze the lecithin out however many drug stores also have it in a liquid form not in capsules also. I have never tried the powdered.

Sweet almond oil is usually found behind the counter at walmart or a drug store.
