  • 1/2 cup flaxseed
  • - water to mix

How To Make flaxseed poultice - reduce inflammation

  • Step 1
    Grind the flaxseed to a fine powder. Add just enough water to make a paste. Apply this paste directly to the affected area and then wrap with a cotton cloth. Make sure that the cloth will stay in place by securing it with an ace bandage or whatever you have available to keep the poultice secure. Leave this on for about 3 hours. Remove the wrapping and wash off with warm water. May be repeated twice daily.
