A great easy recipe for the beginner. I love peppermint shampoo. and lemon verbina. Warning Herbal anything may react badly to comercial hair dyes.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons liquid castile soap
- 1 cup spring water
- 1/4 cup fresh herbs or 2 tablespoons dried herbs
- 1 teaspoon almond oil or olive oil
- 2 - drops essential oil to match herbs
How To Make basic shampoo formula

Step 1Place herbs in a clean 10-ounce glass jar with a lid.

Step 2Boil the spring water and pour over the herbs. Cover and let steep for 10 to 20 minutes.

Step 3Strain the liquid from the herbs into a bowl. Add the liquid castile soap and almond or olive oil and mix thoroughly.

Step 4Scent with essential oil and mix again.

Step 5Bottle in a plastic container with a spout or a clean recycled shampoo bottle. Does approxmimently 24 shampoos

Step 6Herbs for Dry Hair: Burdock root, comfrey, elderflowers, Lavender , marsh mallow, parsley, sage, stinging nettle. Herbs for Damaged Hair: sage, rose, calendula, chamomile, burdock, thyme, rosemary Herbs for Oily Hair: Calendula, horsetail, lemon juice, lemon balm, lemongrass, lavender, mints, rosemary, southernwood, witch hazel and yarrow. Herbs to Prevent and Treat Dandruff: burdock root, chamomile, garlic and onion bulbs (powerful but unpleasantly scented), goosegrass, parsley, rosemary, southernwood, stinging nettle and thyme.
