• Step 1
  Slather entire scalp and all hair in mayonaise, massage into scalp and hair so it is very thick in hair and on scalp Cover head with disposable plastic shower cap or wrap in plastic wrapping. leave covered tightly for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. 1.Rinse hair with hot water till it runs fairly clean 2. rinse very well with white distilled vinegar, 3.scrub with shampoo reapeat steps 1 through 3 and then condition hair. This should be done every other day for 3 weeks.

  Head lice breath through openings in their body. They can hold their breath for 2 hours. after 2 hours they are forced to open up and breath in the mayo, suffocating themselves! No combing for nits is needed with this treatment. This does not kill the nits, but doing the treatment allows them just enough time to hatch and suffocate, it does not allow them time to breed and lay eggs again! It is also a fantastic conditioner for your scalp and hair! *Note- I buy the mayo by the gallon in the instatutional isle at walmart or at costco. It is alot cheaper this way!
