I love this chili.. It is healthy. Please if you want you chili hotter feel free to add more serrano chile. I myself do not like hot.. I chop up extra and put it in a bowl on the side w/ extra, so if someone wants it hotter they can add some chiles. everyone loves this chili. I take it tailgating

extra lean ground turkey
32 oz
chicken broth, low salt
1 can(s)
butter beans 15 1/2 ounces
1 can(s)
white beans 15 1/2 ounces
1/4 tsp
serrano chile chopped very small
1 can(s)
29 oz white hominy
1/2 tsp
1 tsp
1 tsp
white pepper
1/2 c
heavy cream
1 pkg
mozzarella cheese
cilantro chopped if desired for garnish

How to Make White Chili


  • 1In large stock pot, heat oil, over medium heat. Add onion and garlic, saute until translucent about 10 min.
  • 2Add Turkey and stir untl turkey is crumbled and cooked throughly.
  • 3Add chicken broth, white beans, butter beans, hominy, chiles, cumin, salt and white pepper. Bring to a boil, then immediately reduce heat to a simmer for 15 min
  • 4Stir in heavy cream. Serve topped w/ cheese and cilantro.
