Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    turkey, ground
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 tsp
    cumin
  • 1 tsp
    chili powder
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1/2 tsp
    oregano, dried
  • 1/2
    small onion, minced
  • 2 Tbsp
    bell pepper, minced
  • 3/4 c
    water
  • 4 oz
    tomato sauce
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    low-carb tortillas
  • ·
    lettuce, tomato, sliced avacado

How to Make Turkey tacos

Step-by-Step

  1. Brown turkey until no longer pink.
  2. Add dry seasoning, onion, pepper, water and tomato sauce
  3. Simmer 20 minutes on low. Serve with low-carb tortillas, sliced avocado, lettuce and tomato.
  4. Note: this can also be used in my Mexican Stack recipe for casual entertaining
