Ingredients

1 1/2 lb
ground turkey
2 medium
carrots finely chopped
1 medium
onion finely chopped
1 clove
garlic minced
2 Tbsp
apple cider vinegar
2 Tbsp
light brown sugar
1 tsp
worestershire sauce
1 can(s)
6 oz tomato paste
1/2 tsp
dry mustard
3/4 tsp
paprika
1/2 tsp
salt
10
wheat hamburg buns

How to Make Turkey Sloppy Joes

Step-by-Step

  • 1In slow cooker bowl, stir together ground turkey, carrots, celery, garlic, onion, vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, paprika, dry mustard, salt and tomato paste. Cover and cook on HIGH for 3 hours. Stir turkey mixture halfway through cook time and add a little chicken stock if too dry.
  • 2Serve warm on Hamburg buns.
