lean ground turkey
1 tsp
italian seasoning
3 Tbsp
low sodium soy sauce
1 Tbsp
vegeatable oil
2 clove
garlic cloves, minced
1/2 - 1
medium green bell pepper, diced
red onion small, diced
14 1/2 oz
can diced tomatoes
2 c
frozen spinach
1 1/2 c
cooked brown rice
8 oz
fresh mushroom slice or one can mushroom

How to Make Turkey Skillet


  • 1Heat skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground turkey about 5 minutes.
    Add Italian seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and cook an additional minutes. Transfer turkey to a paper towel lined plate to drain.
  • 2Add vegetable oil, garlic, green pepper and red onion to skillet and sauté until tender.
    Add the remaining soy sauce, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, and ten reduce to a simmer.
  • 3Return the cooked turkey to pan. Add the spinach and heat until wilted.
    Season to taste and serve with browned rice. Serve 6
