I was looking for something special to make with the holiday leftovers and decided on a pot pie similar to what my grandmother use to make. I was digging through the dozens of cookbooks and hand notes past down to me by my grandmother and great grandmother when I decided to use three recipes to create one special turkey pot pie... due in part because I did not have the right ingredients for just one. So by combining ideas I came up with one of my own and here it is. I hope you all enjoy it as much as we did.

How to Make Turkey Pot Pie

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large pan on stove add butter and minced garlic with onions.
Sauté onions till soft and then add both cans mixing veggies and turkey in.
  3. Heat until hot adding rest pepper, turmeric, and salt to taste.
  4. Prepare a 9 inch pie pan with one crust (unbaked) on bottom. I advise you to grease

On top decorating to your liking.
