Ingredients
- PINWHEELS:
- 1 tablespoon butter, softened
- 1/4 cup chopped onions
- 1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
- 1 cup thawed peas
- 1 cup diced turkey, more or less
- 10 3/4 ounces can cream of chicken soup, undiluted
- 1 - recipe for rolled biscuits(bisquick)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheddar cheese
- SAUCE:
- 10 3/4 ounces can cream of chicken soup or cream of celery
- 1/2 cup half and half
- 1 cup thawed peas
- 1 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
How To Make turkey pinwheels

Step 1Heat oven to 450^. Pinwheels: In a small skillet melt the butter and add the onions and bell pepper and sauté for 5 minutes. Set aside. Cover peas with boiling water, and drain. Combine peas and turkey,and soup. Add sautéed onion and Bell pepper. Prepare biscuit dough according to package directions; add the cheese to the dough. Roll dough into a 15-inch square about 1/2 inch thick.

Step 2Spread with the turkey mixture, roll as for a jelly roll. Cut roll into 16 slices or so they are 3/4 inch thick, Place cut side down on a greased baking sheet. Bake 22-25 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with sauce on top.

Step 3Sauce: Combine ingredients, place over low heat in a small saucepan, stir occasionally until heat hot.
