This is so good .I love soups in the fall and winter.This makes a nice a gift . I got this recipe out of Goose berry Patch Recipe book

Ingredients

  • 1/4 c
    dried red lentills
  • 2 Tbsp
    dried minced onion
  • 1 Tbsp
    plus 1 1/2 teasp chicken bouillon granules
  • 1/2 tsp
    dill weed
  • 1/8 tsp
    celery seed
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1/8 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1
    bay leaf
  • 1 c
    egg noodles, uncooked

How to Make Turkey Noodle Soup in a jar

Step-by-Step

  1. In one -pint, wide- mouth jar , layer ingredients in the order listed. Seal jar and attach cooking instructions.
  2. Instructions,bring 8 cups water to boil in a large saucepan;stir in jar contents . cover, Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes.Remove bay leaf . Stir in a 10 ounce package frozen mixed vegetables and 2 cups cooked and diced turkey.Cook5 minutes until meat and vegetables are tender . makes 10 cups.
