this is savory and a good comfort food, that is on the healthier side. delicious flavors blended to make a wholesome meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 - eggs or equivalent egg substitute
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup grated zucchini
  • 1/2 - envelope lipton (dry) mushroom soup mix
  • 1/2 cup each, green pepper, onion, mushroom chopped
  • 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
  • 2 teaspoons beef bouillon, granules
  • 1 can tomato sauc (small can)
  • 2 teaspoons each salt , pepper and basil
  • 1/4 cup dry bread crumbs

How To Make turkey meat loaf

  • Step 1
    mix all together in a large bowl.
  • Step 2
    pack into a loaf pan, let marinade at least 2 hours, covered with foil
  • Step 3
    bake in 350 degree oven for 1 hour with foil
  • Step 4
    remove from oven, remove foil, and drain broth into a small saucepan. return to oven, uncovered and bake an additional 15 minutes or until rest of meal is ready to serve.
  • Step 5
    you can top with a couple tablespoons of tomato soup or ketchup when returning to oven for the last 15 minutes.
  • Step 6
    make thin gravy with the saucepan of drippings.
