Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas,drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup scallions,roughly chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 pound ground turkey breast (12oz), 99% fat free
- - olive oil cooking spray
How To Make turkey & chickpeas burger

Step 1In a food processor,combine chickpeas,scallions,cumin,pepper,salt and Worcestershire sauce. Pulse until smooth.

Step 2Transfer chickpea mixture to a large mixing bowl. Add turkey and mix by hand until combined.

Step 3Divide turkey-chickpea mixture into 4 equal portions,shaping each into 3/4 inch patty. Heat a large non stick skillet over medium high heat. Coat skillet with cooking spray and cook patties for 4 to 6 minutes on each side.

Step 4Serve on a whole wheat bun, topped with spinach,tomatoes,onions and Dijon mustard..
