Have enjoy this dish for years. Don't wait for holidays; I make this recipe 3 or 4 times a year. This turkey and dressiing recipe can be served at receptions or a cassarole.

Ingredients

  • 7-8 lbs lb
    roasted turkey- shredded
  • 2 bags large
    pepperidge farm stuffing mix- blue label
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded carrots
  • 1 1/2 c
    minced onion (not dried)
  • 4 stick
    celery-diced very small
  • 2 stick
    butter
  • 4-12oz jar(s)
    turkey gravy
  • 1 qt
    chicken broth

How to Make Turkey and Dressing Sandwich

Step-by-Step

  1. Bake 7 - 8 lb turkey breast ( or 12 - 14 lb turkey) sautee vegetables in 2 sticks of butter. Mix Pepperidge Farm stuffing w/ 1 qt chicken brothand juices from roasting pan as needed for moistness.salt and pepper to taste. Add sauteed vegetable w/ butter. Stir together.
  2. Bake 350 degrees until hot.Mix sredded turkey and dressing with gravy- You want a moist consistencey. Put on bun and enjoy !!! Can be served as a cassarole.
