  • 1 lb
    ground turkey
  • 1 small
  • 2 clove
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1/2 c
    water, cold
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 tsp
    garlic granuels ( if you love garlic that is )
  • 1/2 tsp
    cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 c
    oil (i used bacon fat from breakfas)
  • 2 c
    cheese of your liking grated
  • 1/2 can(s)
    fire roasted tomatos( whole can if you love tomatos )
  • 2 can(s)
    pillsbury flakey butter buscuits
  • ·
    sour cream or salsa

How to Make Taco Cups


  1. Dice onion and garlic. Warm oil in large skillet. Add onion and garlic, cook until soft. Add ground turkey brown slightly, while browning add taco seasoning,cumin and cayenne.Stir in well add water stir until spices blend completely and turkey is browned.Add tomato's. Warm
  2. Let meat cool a bit.In a bowl place cheese and then add meat.Stir well.
  3. Take biscuits out and flatten as much as possible.Grease two 12 cup cupcake pans.Push biscuits into pan so that they go up the sides like a cup. Spoon your meat into each cup press down and fill to top.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees for appx. 35 minutes, until biscuits are brown. Top with sour cream or salsa or both . Enjoy!!
