Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 - carrot, diced
- 1/2 - onion, diced
- 1 - garlic clove,minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
- 1 pinch thyme
- 1 tablespoon flour
- 1/2 cup chicken or veggie broth
- 1 bunch spinach, fresh & chopped
- - salt/pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 3-4 - sweet potatoes, peeled
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup milk
How To Make sweet potato turkey shepard's pie

Step 1Start by boiling the peeled sweet potatoes to fork tender, set aside.

Step 2In a skillet add the olive oil, diced carrots & onions cook on medium about 5 mins.

Step 3add the ground turkey and brown,then the thyme, worcestershire, tomato paste,spinach, paprika, salt and pepper.

Step 4Then sprinkle the flour on top and add the chicken or veggie broth, stir about 5 mins till a light gravy forms...turn the stove off and let sit,while you mash the sweet potatoes and combine with the butter and milk, till fluffy.

Step 5assemble the pie by placing the turkey mixture into a glass dish any shape is fine, then top with the fluffy sweet potatoes and bake at 350 about 20 mins..if you like you can top with cheese.
