Ingredients For pizza casserole

  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 pkg
    hot turkey sausage, chopped
  • 1/4 lb
    fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 1
    8 oz can reduced-sodium tomato sauce
  • 1/2 tsp
    dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    each salt & pepper
  • 1 slice
    low-fat mozzarella cheese
  • 1
    13.8 oz can pillsbury regrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/4 c
    grated parmesan cheese

How To Make pizza casserole

  • 1
    Heat oven to 425. Spray a 9" x 13" pan w/ cooking spray. Heat oil in lg skillet over high heat. Add sausage and mushroom, cook 5 mins, stirring often. Stir in tomato sauce, oregano, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

    Cook until heated through. Unroll pizza dough. Press dough into bottom and 1/2 way up sides of pan. Line bottom of dough w/ 6 slices of mozzarella cheese.

    Top cheese w/ turkey mix. Bake, uncovered 12 mins. Top w/ remaining cheese slices. Sprinkle w/ parmesan cheese. Bake 5 mins, or until cheese is melted.
