You don't need to be on a Paleo diet to enjoy this lovely, healthy dish! If ground turkey isn't your thing, feel free to substitute lean ground beef, pork, or chicken. For non-Paleo's, add a touch shredded cheese to further enhance the flavor of this dish!

Don't let the cinnamon and curry powder scare you away! These spices combined produced a slightly sweet flavor that compliment the remaining ingredients of this recipe.

Enjoy!

How to Make Paleo Skillet

Step-by-Step

  1. Place extra virgin olive oil into the bottom of a large skillet or dutch oven, and heat over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic, salt, cinnamon, curry powder, and sweet potatoes to the pan. Let sauté for 1 minute to allow the garlic to release its flavor.
  3. Add ground turkey to skillet. Mix thoroughly, and allow it to sauté over medium heat.
  4. While the sweet potato and turkey mixture starts to brown, clean and slice the green beans, Brussels sprouts, and bell pepper.
  5. Once vegetables are cleaned and prepped, add to skillet.
  6. Cover skillet and allow mixture to cook until all vegetables are fork tender.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
