My husband is diabetic. I was craving something turkey and something sweet and came up with this ~

Ingredients

  • 1 lb
    package turkey cutlets
  • 1 c
    walden farms sugar free maple syrup (found in the grocery store by the regular syrup)
  • 1 tsp
    bourbon (i used jim beam as it's carb free)
  • 1 tsp
    orange extract
  • 1 Tbsp
    healthy butter substitute (i use smart balance light)

How to Make No Carb, Diabetic Friendly Sweet and Orange Turkey

Step-by-Step

  1. Place turkey cutlets in large zipper seal baggie
  2. Add syrup then extract and bourbon
  3. Squeeze out air, seal and kneed mixture for 3 minutes to mix and coat turkey
  4. Let permeate for 20 minutes to an hour
  5. Cook on griddle or in pan in the healthy butter until done on both sides and serve hot.
