Ingredients
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 1/4 pounds ground turkey, 93% lean
- 1/3 cup bread crumbs, whole wheat
- 1/2 cup skim milk
- 1 large egg white, lightly beaten
- 3 tablespoons reduced sugar tomato ketchup
- 2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Step 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees; spray an 8 x 5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.

Step 2In a small non-stick skillet, spray with nonstick cooking spray. Saute the onions until tender, 4-5 minutes.

Step 3In a medium bowl, combine the onion, turkey, bread crumbs, milk, egg white, ketchup, cheese, and spices; blend well.

Step 4Shape into a loaf and transfer to the pan. Bake until browned and cooked through, 50-60 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
