Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1/2 cup onion chopped
- 1 clove garlic,crushed
- 1 medium green bell pepper- diced
- 1 can crushed tomatoes (28oz)
- 1 can red kidney beans
- 1 can chick peas- drained
- 1 can black beans ( optional to drain)
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- - salt and pepper to taste
- - few drops hot sauce (ex.tabasco sauce)
How To Make mom's turkey chili

Step 1Brown turkey chop meat, onion, green pepper, and garlic until turkey in thoroughly cooked. Drain. Combine all ingredients in a slow cooker . Set on high for 5-6 hours - the longer the better.

Step 2Stir as needed and add additional liquid (e.g. water, can of tomato sauce) if needed.

Step 3serve topped with your favorite cheese and crushed tortilla chips
