1/2 c
ruby port or 1/2 cup grape juice
1/2 c
chicken stock
1/2 c
whipping cream
1/2 tsp
thyme, dried
1/2 c
lingonberry jam
1 Tbsp
red wine vinegar
1/2 tsp
orange peel, grated
salt and pepper to taste
cornstarch to thicken

How to Make Lingonberry Sauce


  • 1In a heavy sauce pan Add port wine, chicken stock, whipping cream, and thyme. Reduce by half.
  • 2Then add lingonberry jam, red wine vinegar, and orange peel, grated. And simmer for 5 minutes.
  • 3And then thicken with cornstarch.
