Ingredients For lingonberry sauce

  • 1/2 c
    ruby port or 1/2 cup grape juice
  • 1/2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1/2 c
    whipping cream
  • 1/2 tsp
    thyme, dried
  • 1/2 c
    lingonberry jam
  • 1 Tbsp
    red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp
    orange peel, grated
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • cornstarch to thicken

How To Make lingonberry sauce

  • 1
    In a heavy sauce pan Add port wine, chicken stock, whipping cream, and thyme. Reduce by half.

    Then add lingonberry jam, red wine vinegar, and orange peel, grated. And simmer for 5 minutes.

    And then thicken with cornstarch.
