Ingredients
- 2 pounds ground turkey
- 2 medium zucchini, halved and sliced
- 1 medium red pepper, cored and diced
- 1 medium green pepper, cored and diced
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil, extra virgin
- 2 cans (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
- 2 cans (15 oz) garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, un-drained
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon oregano, dried
- - fresh ground pepper
- - sea salt to taste
How To Make joe's homemade chili

Step 1In large pot brown turkey with onions and drain excess fat.

Step 2Place vegetables, half the garlic and oil in pot and saute until tender. Add beans, and tomatoes.

Step 3Bring to a boil, then simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4Add spices and the rest of the garlic; mix well. Simmer for five more minutes. Add pepper and sea salt to taste

Step 5NOTES: Freezed great in a Tupperware container. For a vegetarian variety simply take out the ground turkey.

Step 6Make a complete plate with a piece of cornbread.
