A friend gave me this recipe and I've changed it up to meet my husband's my tastes and make it a bit more healthy. It's good and satisfying. We like it served over biscuits.

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 - potatoes, cleaned and diced
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 2 - carrots, sliced
- 1 can stewed tomatoes, italian-style
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 can creamed corn
- 1 can mixed vegetables, drained
- 2 tablespoons beef soup base (optional)
- - salt and pepper to taste
How To Make hunter stew

Step 1In a dutch oven brown turkey, onion, celery, carrots and potatoes until turkey is fully cooked.

Step 2Add stewed tomatoes, tomato soup. Let simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 3Add creamed corn, mixed vegetables, soup base if desired. Let simmer another 20 minutes. Stew will become thick. Stir often.

Step 4Serve in bowls with crusty bread or biscuits.
