Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey breast
- 2 cups cooked rice, white or brown
- 1 - green bell peppper, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 - onion, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 - 14 oz can condensed tomato soup
- 1 - 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon each, salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups reduced-fat, shredded cheddar cheese
How To Make healthy unstuffed pepper casserole

Step 1Heat oven to 350. Spray a 9" x 13" baking pan w/ cooking spray. Spray a lg skillet w/ cooking spray. Place skillet over med-high heat.

Step 2Cook turkey breast until fully cooked. Place turkey breast in lg bowl. Add rice, green bell pepper, onion, tomato soup, tomato sauce, basil, oregano, salt and pepper, mix well.

Step 3Spoon mix into pan. Thin slices of butter and place on top of ingredients. Sprinkle w/ shreddded cheese. Cover w/ foil. Bake 30 mins. Remove foil and bake until cheese is bubbly.
