This is a basic turkey chili with a lot of flavor and not a lot of calories.

Ingredients

ground turkey
1 medium
onion, chopped

bell pepper, chopped
28 oz
crushed tomatoes
2 can(s)
any type of beans, 2 different kinds
2 c
water
1 Tbsp
garlic, minced
2 tsp
chili powder
1/2 tsp
paprika
1/2 tsp
oregano
1/2 tsp
cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp
cumin
1.2 tsp
black pepper

How to Make Healthy Turkey Chili

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large heavy bottomed pot, brown ground turkey until cooked through. Drain fat. Add onion and pepper and saute until soft. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pot.
  • 2Bring to a boil, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
    Makes about 10-1 cup servings.
