My original recipe called for meat, but since I'm trying to eat healthier I made it w/ turkey breast, ground.

1 large
onion, chopped
1 medium
green bell pepper, chopped
1/2 c
quick-cooking rolled oats
1/4 c
egg beaters, egg substitute
2 Tbsp
fat-free milk
2 tsp
minced garlic
1 tsp
dried italian seasoning
1 tsp
mrs. dash salt-free seasoning
1 tsp
cajun seasoning
1 lb
ground turkey breast

How to Make Healthy Creole meatballs


  • 1Heat oven to 375. Spray a rimmed lg baking sheet w/ cooking spray.
  • 2In lg bowl, combine onion, green bell pepper, rolled oats, Egg Beaters, milk, garlic, italian seasoning, Mrs. Dash seasoning and cajun seasoning. Add ground turkey and mix well.
  • 3Using a rounded measuring tbsp, Shape turkey mix into 1-1/4" balls. Arrange meatballs in pan. Bake, uncovered 25 min, or until browned.
