My original recipe called for meat, but since I'm trying to eat healthier I made it w/ turkey breast, ground.

Ingredients

  • 1 large
    onion, chopped
  • 1 medium
    green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 c
    quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/4 c
    egg beaters, egg substitute
  • 2 Tbsp
    fat-free milk
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 tsp
    dried italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    mrs. dash salt-free seasoning
  • 1 tsp
    cajun seasoning
  • 1 lb
    ground turkey breast

How to Make Healthy Creole meatballs

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oven to 375. Spray a rimmed lg baking sheet w/ cooking spray.
  2. In lg bowl, combine onion, green bell pepper, rolled oats, Egg Beaters, milk, garlic, italian seasoning, Mrs. Dash seasoning and cajun seasoning. Add ground turkey and mix well.
  3. Using a rounded measuring tbsp, Shape turkey mix into 1-1/4" balls. Arrange meatballs in pan. Bake, uncovered 25 min, or until browned.
