My original recipe called for meat, but since I'm trying to eat healthier I made it w/ turkey breast, ground.

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup egg beaters, egg substitute
  • 2 tablespoons fat-free milk
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon mrs. dash salt-free seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning
  • 1 pound ground turkey breast

How To Make healthy creole meatballs

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375. Spray a rimmed lg baking sheet w/ cooking spray.
  • Step 2
    In lg bowl, combine onion, green bell pepper, rolled oats, Egg Beaters, milk, garlic, italian seasoning, Mrs. Dash seasoning and cajun seasoning. Add ground turkey and mix well.
  • Step 3
    Using a rounded measuring tbsp, Shape turkey mix into 1-1/4" balls. Arrange meatballs in pan. Bake, uncovered 25 min, or until browned.
