I've used this recipe for years, & we think it tastes just like sausage, without all the fat. Use it just as you would sausage, alone or in any recipe that calls for sausage. I hope you enjoy it too!

ground turkey
2 tsp
ground sage (dried)
1 tsp
ground black pepper
1 pkg
(individual packet) equal or similar sweetener
1 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
onion powder
1/2 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/4 tsp
1/8 tsp
ground cloves

How to Make Ground Turkey Sausage


  • 1In a large bowl, place meat, & press out & up sides, so spices can be sprinkled on evenly.
  • 2In a small bowl, place remaining ingredients & stir well to combine. Crush & stir in any small lumps that may be present, so all is well mixed.
  • 3Sprinkle spice mixture evenly over whole surface of meat, then knead the meat as you would bread, til all is well mixed.
  • 4Use as you would any ground sausage, as is in patties, or in any recipe calling for sausage.
