I wanted to make a hearty chili for my husband, as he loves a nice thick spicy chili. Think of all your favorite chili ingredients....you will find them all in this chili, along with some you may not have thought of. We had some friends over tonight to try it out and they ALL LOVED it! I made this with my Jalapeno Cupcakes, and it was delish.

How to Make Everything and More Chili!!!!!

Step-by-Step

  1. Heat oil in large stock pot over meadium heat. Then add onions, garlic, and all peppers and saute until they are translucent. Then add to crockpot.
  2. In a seperate skillet, cook the ground turkey and sirloin until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and add the meat to the crockpot. Stir to combine. Saute for a few minutes, then add tomato paste, espresso, sugar and remaining seasonings.
  3. Then add beans, stock, tomatoes and beer. Stir well, and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 1-2 hours.
  4. Note: this can be done onthe stovetop, I just prefer the crockpot so the flavors can gel together.
