curried turkey and ham croissant

We all love it! My friends and family..I served these at a tupperware party, and people went crazy over them..

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh asparagus or 1 (10 oz) frozen asparagus spears, cooked and drained. i buy the frozen
  • 12 ounces sliced ham, your choice..i use virginia baked
  • 12 ounces thinly sliced turkey
  • 6 ounces sliced swiss cheese
  • 8 - croissants, split
  • CURRY SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups half - n - half
  • 1/4 cup realemon lemon juice from concentrate

How To Make curried turkey and ham croissant

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degree
  • Step 2
    Arrange equal ammounts of asparagus, ham, turkey and cheese on bottom half of each croissant. Place top halves of croissants on cheese. Bake on a sheet pan 15 minutes or until hot.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, make curry sauce. In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter, stir in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder and 1/4 tsp salt. Gradually add 1 1/2 cups of half n half; over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened, about five minutes.
  • Step 4
    Remove from heat, slowly stir in 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate. Spoon sauce over croissants, garnish with paprika if desired.
