Ingredients

1 lbfresh asparagus or 1 (10 oz) frozen asparagus spears, cooked and drained. i buy the frozen

12 ozsliced ham, your choice..i use virginia baked

12 ozthinly sliced turkey

6 ozsliced swiss cheese

8croissants, split
-
CURRY SAUCE
-
1/4 cbutter or margarine

2 Tbspflour
-
1/2 tspcurry powder
-
1/4 tspsalt
-
1 1/2 chalf - n - half
-
1/4 crealemon lemon juice from concentrate
How to Make Curried Turkey and Ham Croissant
- Preheat oven to 350 degree
- Arrange equal ammounts of asparagus, ham, turkey and cheese on bottom half of each croissant.
Place top halves of croissants on cheese.
Bake on a sheet pan 15 minutes or until hot. - Meanwhile, make curry sauce.
In a small saucepan, melt 1/4 cup of butter, stir in 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of curry powder and 1/4 tsp salt.
Gradually add 1 1/2 cups of half n half; over medium heat, cook and stir until thickened, about five minutes. - Remove from heat, slowly stir in 1/4 cup lemon juice from concentrate.
Spoon sauce over croissants, garnish with paprika if desired.
