- 1 cup salsa
- - juice of 1 lime
- 1 package taco seasoning mix
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast, trimmed of visible fat
- ADDITIONAL TOPPING SUGGESTIONS
- - chopped fresh cilantro
- - shredded iceburg lettuce
- - black olives
- - guacamole
- - diced tomatoes
- - chopped red onion
- - sliced green onion
- - shredded cheese
- - sour cream
- - pinto beans
- - corn
How To Make simple slow cooker chicken tacos

Step 1Pour salsa, lime juice into slow cooker. Add chicken and stir to coat.

Step 2Cook on low for 6-8 hours on low or high for 3-4 hours.

Step 3Remove chicken with a slotted spoon. Shred with fork.

Step 4Stir shredded chicken back into sauce. Remove some sauce if it's too wet. Set slow cooker to keep warm.

Step 5Wrap flour tortillas in foil and heat in 350 degree oven until warm.
