loki’s slow cooked pork chops

Another recipe that’s especially good for busy cooks (working mom’s of young kids?). Quick prep, set and go! A high protein favorite when mine were little! Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 large onion sliced
  • 3 large pork chops, center cut, boneless
  • 1 package savory herb and garlic soup mix
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup chardonnay

How To Make loki’s slow cooked pork chops

  • Step 1
    Sauté onions in multi cooker or pan and add to the slow cooker
  • Step 2
    Lay chops on top of onions
  • Step 3
    Sprinkle herb soup mix over chops and cover with can of mushroom soup and pour Chardonnay over.
  • Step 4
    Cover and set the cooker for at least 1 hours (for fresh cuts, 2 hours for frozen cuts) up to 4 hours. Check for liquid at 3 hours. If the liquid is below the chops you can add a little more wine or water
  • Step 5
    Suggest to serve over brown rice (109 cal/half cup) or mashed potatoes (128 cal/half cup no butter/milk/or sour cream).
