Ingredients

  • 5 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 3 clove
    garlic, peeled and crushed
  • zest
    of 2 oranges (finely grated)
  • 2 Tbsp
    honey
  • 1 Tbsp
    dried mint
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    ground turmeric
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 lb
    (4-6 chops) lamb chops (loin or rib)
  • 1 large
    onion. peeled and sliced

How to Make Lamb Chops with Orange Zest and Turmeric

Step-by-Step

  1. Mix oil, garlic, orange zest, honey, mint, turmeric, and salt together in a small bowl.
  2. Place the lamb chops in a single layer in a glass baking dish. Spread marinade over chops and cover with plastic wrap. Marinate in fridge for 2 hours (up to overnight).
  3. Preheat oven to 400F. Coat an oblong baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. Spread onion slices on bottom of dish and place chops on top.
  4. Roast for 15-20 minutes, according to how rare you want them.
  5. Serve immediately.
