Ingredients
- 4 cups crushed cracker crumbs (saltines)
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 pint oysters, drained (reserve juice)
- - reserved juice plus enough milk to make 2 cups liquid
How To Make pennsylvania dutch scalloped oysters

Step 1Preheat oven to 375F. Grease or butter an 8-inch square baking pan (glass is best).

Step 2Combine cracker crumbs and melted butter. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 3Place 1/3 of cracker mix in bottom of pan. Place half of the oysters on crumbs. Repeat for another layer. Pour liquid over layers and top with remaining crumbs.

Step 4Bake for 30 minutes.
