Ingredients

  • 1 c
    water
  • 1 3/4 c
    chicken broth
  • 1 1/4 c
    quick cooking grits
  • 1/2 lb
    shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 Tbsp
    shrimp scampi spice blends seasoning
  • 1 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 large
    corn on the cob
  • 1 c
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c
    asiago cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbsp
    chives, bunch
  • 1 Tbsp
    old bay seasoning

How to Make Brown Butter Shrimp Scampi and Grits

Step-by-Step

  1. In a pot, add water and chicken broth and bring to a boil
    Add grits and cook on low-med heat
  2. Add cheeses and mix. Set Temp to low to thicken
  3. In a saute pan, Cook shrimp adding spice blends, and old bay until cooked through
  4. Set aside. Add corn on the cob, and saute until browned
    Cut the corn off the cob
  5. To assemble, Plate the grits, add corn then shrimp. Sprinkle with chives
