barbecued shrimp (georgia style)
Great way to cook shrimp if you have the 2 to 3 hours to let them marinade. Easy and delicious! Not really barbecue since it's done in the oven, but this is made often in Georgia and called "barbecue" shrimp.

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 - bay leaves, crushed
- 2 teaspoons dried rosemary, crushed
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano, crushed
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 dashes hot sauce
- 2 dashes worcestershire sauce
- 3 pounds unpeeled large fresh shrimp
How To Make barbecued shrimp (georgia style)

Step 1Combine all ingredients except shrimp in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes.

Step 2Rinse the shrimp; drain. Place in an ungreased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp. Cover and chill 2 to 3 hours.

Step 3Uncover and bake at 400° for 20 to 25 minutes or until the shrimp turn pink and the shells start to pull away, basting occasionally.
