Air Fryer Essentials: Cajun Shrimp

I love shrimp, and I love how the air fryer makes them so yummy. This is a simple recipe that I like to make into shrimp tacos; however, they are wonderful over some nice long-grain white rice.

So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

  • 6 - 8
    jumbo shrimp, raw
  • 1 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 1 tsp
    old bay seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp
    sweet paprika
  • 1 pinch
    cayenne pepper

How to Make Air Fryer Essentials: Cajun Shrimp


  2. Gather your Ingredients (mise en place).
  3. Remove the shells from the shrimp, and pat dry on a paper towel.
  4. Dip the shrimp into the olive oil, shake off the excess, dust them with the old bay seasoning, paprika, and cayenne, and then put them into the air fryer basket.
  5. Chef’s Tip: Just sprinkle the shrimp with the spices, do not go too heavy.
  6. Set the air fryer to 400f (205c), and cook for six minutes.
  8. I like to make shrimp tacos, but they work great over some nice long-grained white rice. Enjoy.
  9. Keep the faith, and keep cooking.
