This was my Mom's recipe. It is rich and delicious and a real comfort food with all of the benefits of spinach. what more could you want?

1 pkg
pie pastry, prepared top and bottom
3 box
frozen, chopped spinach, (thawed and drained)
1 Tbsp
chopped garlic
8 oz
(or more) shredded cheese
small can black olives chopped
3/4 c
green olives chopped
diced pepperoni, ham, cooked sausage or salami (these are the meats that i have tried, but you can use whatever you like)
3/4 c
parmesan cheese

How to Make Spinach Pie


  • 1Place the bottom pie crust in a deep casserole dish.
  • 2Mix all of the other ingredients in a large bowl and put on top of the pie crust. Top with the second pie crust and seal the edges by pinching together.
  • 3Cut a few steam holes in the top crust.
  • 4Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
