provolone, salami and spinach pie

An easy Italian spinach pie that will delight your tastebuds. All that cheesy, spinach, salami goodness in one bite. The pie crust is nice and flaky. Not like a quiche with so much custard.

Ingredients For provolone, salami and spinach pie

  • 2
    pie crusts
  • 16 oz
    frozen chopped spinach drained well sqeeezed
  • One 8 oz
    roasted red pepper, slices
  • 1 pkg
    genoa salami
  • 2 pkg
    provolone cheese, slices
  • 8 oz
    thin sliced deli ham, chopped
  • 6
    eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese (use the cheap grated in a plastic jar)
  • italian seasoning
  • 8 oz
    fresh mozzarella

How To Make provolone, salami and spinach pie

    Preheat oven to 375F.
  • 2
    Place a pie crust in the bottom of a 9” pie plate.
  • Drain the spinach of as much water as possible.  Squeeze in a tea towel.

    Thaw and drain spinach. Get as much water out as possible by twisting out in a tea towel.

    Place1/2 the spinach over the pie crust.
  • 5
    Top the spinach with 1/2 of the salami.
  • 6
    Cover salami with 1 bag of provolone cheese slices.

    Top the provolone with 1/2 of the deli ham.

    Whisk eggs and Parmesan cheese together. Pour 1/2 over the top of the provolone/ham.
  • Pour 1/2 of the egg mix on top, add 1/2 the peppers and the rest of the spinach

    Top the egg/Parmesan mix with the rest of the spinach and 1/2 of the roasted bell pepper slices.

    Cover that layer with the rest of the salami.

    Top the salami layer with the other package of provolone slices.

    Cover this layer with the rest of the ham and the rest of the egg mixture. Dust lightly with Italian seasoning.

    Top with the remaining roasted red peppers and chunks of mozzarella cheese.

    End the layering process with topping with the pie crust and tucking in and pinching to seal.
  • Piping hot out of the oven.  Cheesy goodness awaits.

    Bake 375 F for 50 minutes or until golden brown.
