Ingredients
- 2 - refrigerated pie crusts, unbaked
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 1/2 pounds button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cups finely chopped onion
- 1/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1/2 cup stout beer
- 2 - eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups grated cheddar cheese, sharp
- 1 cup cottage cheese, small curd
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- - salt and pepper, to taste
How To Make hobbit pie

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Step 2Line a 9-inch deep dish pie pan with one crust.

Step 3Heat oil in large frying pan and saute mushrooms until they start to soften. Add onions and cook over medium heat until onions are translucent.

Step 4Remove from heat and add flour and beer, mixing well.

Step 5Add remaining ingredients and season with salt and pepper.

Step 6Pour in bottom crust and top with second crust. Crimp edges to seal and cut two slits in top to vent.

Step 7Bake 40-45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown. Let cool a few minutes and slice.
