This is my third fish sandwich... HEY, I like fish sandwiches. This is a simple fish burger with a lot of comfy flavor. You want your fish and ingredients to be the freshest possible. Then serve it up on a nice soft bun with some great sauce or spread. I’ve got a great spread that I’ll talk about later, but you might have your own personal favorite. So, you ready… Let’s get into the kitchen.

Ingredients
- PLAN/PURCHASE
- 4 ounces cod, haddock, or halibut filet
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice, freshly squeezed
- 2 tablespoons flour, all purpose variety
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 pinch paprika, sweet or hot, your choice
- - salt, kosher variety, to taste
- 2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
- ADDITIONAL ITEMS
- - fresh lettuce
- - fresh tomato
- - fresh soft burger bun
- - your favorite sauce/spread for the fish
How To Make sandwich essentials: easy/peasy fish burger

Step 1PREP/PREPARE

Step 2Gather Your Ingredients (mise en place).

Step 3Place the filet on a shallow plate, cover with the lemon juice, and allow it to rest for 10 minutes.

Step 4Mix the flour, dill, parsley, paprika, and salt together in a shallow dish or pie plate.

Step 5Add the grapeseed oil to a sauté pan over medium-high heat.

Step 6Dredge the filet in the flour mixture, and add to the hot skillet.

Step 7Cook about 2 minutes per side, or until golden brown.

Step 8PLATE/PRESENT

Step 9Add your favorite spread/sauce to the bottom of a nice firm burger bun.

Step 10Lay the filet on top.

Step 11Add some lettuce and tomato.

Step 12Add a bit more sauce to the top bun, cover and serve with some chips. Enjoy.
