Ingredients

  • 2 large whole wheat pitas
  • 1 large chicken breast, split across the center to make 2.
  • garlic salt to taste
  • mrs. dash chicken seasoning to taste
  • 1/2 cup fat free feta cheese
  • 4 thin cucumber slices
  • handful of baby spinach leaves
  • SAUCE
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 pinch dill
  • 1 pinch dried parsley
  • 1 pinch garlic powder

How To Make quick & easy grilled chicken gyro

  • Step 1
    Season Chicken Generously with spices.
  • Step 2
    Grill over medium high heat for about 7 minutes per side.
  • Step 3
    Meanwhile, wrap pita bread in foil and warm in the oven for 5 minutes at 350 degrees.
  • Step 4
    Let chicken rest for 5 minutes or so before cutting across the grain into thin strips.
  • Step 5
    Mix together Sauce ingredients. Spread sauce evenly over both pieces of pita.
  • Step 6
    Layer Spinach and Cucumbers, then chicken into pita.
  • Step 7
    Sprinkle with fat free Feta Cheese. Fold and serve!
