oma's thunfischsalat - tuna salad
Found this in a website about Austrian food - this is pretty much how my German mom always made it. If you can find sour pickles in a European specialty store, all the better! NOTE: tuna comes in smaller cans than it used to, so adjust proportion of other ingredients accordingly. I use water pack tuna, but oil pack will give you a richer flavor.

Ingredients
- 2 cans tuna, drained (about 5 to 7 ounces each)
- 1 small onion, minced
- 2 medium dill pickles, minced
- 2 - hard-boiled eggs, diced
- 1-3 tablespoon lemon juice (or juice of 1 lemon, approx)
- 5 tablespoons mayonnaise (light is ok)
