1 Tbspbutter or olive oil for grilling (i used a mixture of both)
4 slicewhole wheat bread
2 Tbspkalamata olives, pitted and minced
1 carugula, loosely packed (approximately)
2 slicecomtè cheese (gruyere can substitute)
How to Make Comtè, Olive & Arugula Grilled Cheese Sandwich
- Heat up the olive oil and/or butter in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Spread two bread slices with the kalamata/mayo mixture. Top the other two bread slices with the cheese and arugula.
- Cook in the pan until golden brown on each side. Enjoy with a cold soup-cucumber, gazpacho or similar, as a suggestion!
