Bacon Pimento Cheese Sammie

Melissa Buchanan-Smith

Growing up with a southern grandma, this was a lunch staple.

Blue Ribbon Recipe

This ooey gooey sammie is lick the plate delicious. The pimento cheese spread has cream cheese in it which isn't a traditional ingredient. It adds a hint of tang and helps with the melted cheese goodness. Pimento cheese had a hint of spice and the heat in this is just right. When melted, combined with the crisp bacon it's a flavorful duo. Using mayo toasts the bread to a beautiful golden brown. We did add a 3rd slice of bacon to our sandwich because there is no such thing as too much bacon for us. Test Kitchen Avatar The Test Kitchen
