Ingredients
- 1 kilogram baby back pork ribs
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup yellow mustard
- 1 or more tablespoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon salt
How To Make flavourful honey mustard ribs
-
Step 1Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and turn on convection fan.
-
Step 2Prepare ribs. Remove the tough membrane (fell) that covers the back side of the ribs. Use a spoon to help loosen it and peel it off. This makes the ribs more tender.
-
Step 3Cut the rack in half and position the pieces so that they fit in an 8" X 8" baking pan.
-
Step 4Whisk together the honey, mustard, thyme and salt and pour over the ribs, turning so they coat evenly.
-
Step 5Cover tightly with a large piece of foil.
-
Step 6Use a two-temperature cooking method. Bake for 15 minutes at 400 F, then, without opening the oven, reduce the heat to 300 F and continue baking until the meat easily comes off the bone- about 2 hours or so. Serve.
