tangy pork skillet
I had some pork chops and didn't want to fix them the usual way. I wanted a sauce and didn't have time to marinade them before cooking. This recipe that I found hit the spot. My family loved them and even though I doubled the recipe, they didn't get enough. The sauce is delicious and can also be used on fish, chicken or turkey for a different flavor.

Ingredients
- 4 - pork lion chops
- 1/4 cup italian dressing
- 1/4 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
How To Make tangy pork skillet
-
Step 1In a large non-stick skillet, season chops to taste, brown pork chops on one side over medium high heat. If the skillet is full, brown the chops in 2 batches so they brown well. ( I doubled my recipe and didn't overcook the chops).
-
Step 2Remove browned chops to platter and keep warm.
-
Step 3Add remaining ingredients to pan, stirring to blend. Return all chops to pan, and turn them so the browned side is up. (I browned both sides of the pork chops).
-
Step 4Cover and simmer for 5 to 8 minutes, or until meat is tender.
