My daughter Noel invented this recipe. She uses low fat hot dogs, cheese and sour cream to make it healthier. Sometimes she uses vegetarian hot dogs.

This is another home made "fast food" that can be made in just minutes!

Ingredients

  • "BUNS"

  • 1 pkg
    (8 - 10) flour tortillas
  • MEAT

  • 1 pkg
    (8 -10) hot dogs (your favorite)
  • TOPPINGS

  • 1
    jar salsa (to your tastes)
  • 1 large
    tomatoe (chopped or minced)
  • 1
    onion (minced)
  • 1 - 2 c
    shredded or chopped lettuce of choice
  • 1 pkg
    shredded cheese of choice
  • 10 -12
    totilla chips (of your choice) (crumbled)
  • 1 pkg
    sour cream

How to Make Taco Dogs !!!

Step-by-Step

  1. Place hot dogs into a sauce pan. Add about 1/3 cup of water, bring to a boil to create steam heat. Cover with lid. (add more water if needed)/
  2. Remove lid, add water if needed, Use a tongs to hold flour tortilla into the steam. Then assemble taco dog by appling your desired toppings.
