Slow Cooker Crock Pot


  • 2 1/2 c
    split peas
  • 1 1/2 c
    lean ham, diced
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 1 Tbsp
  • 2 medium
    carrots, diced
  • 1 medium
    potato, diced
  • 1 medium
    onion, diced
  • 4 c
  • 2 c
    chicken broth, low fat, low sodium

How to Make Split Pea Soup with Ham


  1. Saute onion in butter and oil until golden. Place onion and the rest of the ingredients in a slow cooker. Cover. Cook on medium for 8-10 hours. Serve with baguette rolls.
